How Much Does a QR Code Cost?
Generating a static QR code is free, including on this site — no sign-up, no per-code fee, no expiry. Costs only enter the picture with dynamic QR services, which typically charge a monthly or annual subscription for the ability to change the destination later and track scans.
Static QR codes cost nothing to create because there's no ongoing infrastructure behind them — the data lives entirely in the printed pattern, not on a server that needs to stay running and paid for. That's structurally different from a dynamic QR service, where the monthly fee is paying for a redirect server that has to keep working indefinitely for your codes to keep functioning.
