Privacy Policy

We do not collect, log or store the URLs you encode. Our QR generator runs entirely in your browser, and no sign-up is required to use it. We use Google Analytics to understand aggregate site usage and Google AdSense to support the site with advertising — both may set cookies, as detailed below, and you can opt out of ad personalization at any time.

QR code content: never collected. The URL you encode is processed client-side in your browser and never touches our servers.

Server logs: our hosting provider keeps standard request logs (IP address, user-agent, requested URL, response status) for security and uptime monitoring. These are deleted after 30 days.

Theme preference: a single localStorage entry remembers your light/dark preference. No tracking cookies are set.

Analytics: we use Google Tag Manager to run Google Analytics (GA4), which sets cookies to measure aggregate site usage — pages viewed, session length, general device and approximate location. This data is used in aggregate and is not used to identify you personally.

Advertising: we use Google AdSense to help support this site. Google and its advertising partners may use cookies or similar technologies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites, and to measure ad performance (“ad personalization”). You can read Google’s own policy on this at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites, and opt out of personalized advertising any time via Google Ads Settings or aboutads.info. Before we enable personalized ads for visitors in the European Economic Area, the UK, or Switzerland, we will present a consent choice, as required by Google’s EU User Consent Policy.

Fonts: the Google Fonts stylesheet is loaded from their CDN. If you prefer complete isolation, you can block the request with an ad-blocker — the site falls back to system fonts gracefully.
